BURGLARY AT PAEROA

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Auckland, February 19. Mr. R. M'Caulfield's house in Mill Road, Paoroa, was entered by some person last night and J!l2 in notes stolen from under tho mattress on Mr. M'Caulfield's bed. Mr. M'CnuMeld left/home at 8.80 and all the doors wera locked and tho lights out. On returning about one hour later he found nil the doors oncn and a bin light burning in the kitchen. The bedroom was disarranged and the blankets were found under the water-tap outside tho house. Papers were found scattered about the room, but ' tho money was missing)
