Lord Selborne, speaking at Liverpool/ stated that while he accepted Mr. 1 Bonar Law's decision regarding food duties, he regretted it: They were unablo to complete Imperial Preference without an adjustment of food, taxes. If tho Dominions did not receive reciprocity the day would oome when they \vould make reciprocal bargains with Germany or somo' other country.
