Mr. Joseph F. M'Mahon, of the Queen's Theatre, Auckland, is at present -on a visit to Wellington. Mr. Priestly, of tho Scott Polar etpedition, is staying with Dr. Allen Thomson. Mr. Wright, also of tho expedition, is in town., Mr. A. M. Adams lias been transferred from tho staff of the Audit Office to that of tho Immigration Department. (Mr. H. Selous, a cousin of the famous African big-gome hunter, is a through passenger from Australia to Auckland by the lt.lt.S. Zealaiidift, . Mr, S', F. Sherwood, secretory of tho Nebon Harbour Board* i 6 at present on a visit to this city.
