THE ARRANGEMENTS. , The annual endeavour to augment the funds of tho Wellington Hospital ia to bo made to-day and to-monw\y and .tho citizens are warned that without' a llttlq loose silver in their pockets toy will find it difficult to run tho gauntlet of tho collectors, who will occupy all points of vantage in the city. Ewmiption from worry may, however, bs purchased cheaply. Every person giving tho sum of_ ono shilling to any collector will rccoivo a card, tho sight of which will bo an absolute specific against any further appeal. Tho collectors will tako up their {109(3 at 8 a.m., and will continuo on duty until the evening. Tho Mission Band has kindly consented to play selections in tho main streets tin's evening in connection with tho collection.' ■ ■ 1.

To-morrow tho City, Jupii's, and tho Tramways Bnndsj aro to play a grand combined programme of music at Newtown Park from 2.30 p.m. until 4.30 p.m., and tho Salvation Army , Hand will piny selections in tho hospital grounds. At both places collections will bo made by nurses from tho Wellington Hospital. Other collections aro to bo made at.May's Hay, whero the Watersido Workers' Band will bo located, and at Seatonn Park, wke-ro music will bs discoursed by the Miramar Bras 3 Band.
