OPERA HOUSE. To-night is the last opportunity afforded the public of witnessing Hugard's magio and riflo act. The Chinese oian, Chin» Sung Loo, still continues to mystify people with his Oriental magic. The musical portion of tho programmeis contributed by Miss Myra Errington and Mr. George Carman. THEATBE EOTAL. "Jules Garrison and his Roman Maids" still figure as tho star turn at tho Theatre Royal. To-night is tho last opportunity of hearing Victor the Great in his now rolo as a ventriloquist. Next Monday tho usual change will take place and new artists will appear. HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. "Lost Years," the star drama which has been drawing good houses this week at His Majesty 3 Theatre, will: bo screened to-night for the last time. On Monday the management announce that the sensational picture "The Fatal Wedding," will bo shown. KING'S THEATRE. "Nick Winter and the Stolen Favourite," with- the other pictures now showing at tho King's Theatre, will bo screened tonight for tho last time. On Monday a special drama, "A Woman of No Country," will be shown. . Included in tho programme will bo a film of the unveiling of tho Cook Memorial, which film was taken specially by the operator of the King's Theatre. THE NEW THEATRE. The ourrent programme at tho New Theatre continuous pictures is announced for tho last timo to-day and to-night. The dramas, "Days of '49," "Chief White Eagle," and "A Fight in the Dark," aro deservedly popular. The travel item, "Trieste to Venice," is an interesting study. The comedies are completely mirthful. Monday's change of programme will introduce a high-class "feature" dramagraph, entitled . "The Schemers Out-, witced." j SHORTTS* THEATRE. "The Old Reporter" is the title of Messrs,- Shortts'star item this week. The story, as the title suggests, purports to pourtray journalistic life. There.are also one or two good comic items on tho programme. TEE EMPRESS THEATRE. There were crowded sessions yesterday afternoon and evening at the Empress Theatro continuous pictures. A popular number is the A.B. exclusive drama, "Brutality," a powerful character study portrayed most artistically.. Tho leading subject of tho evening sessions is the elaborate costume d:oma, "Flower of Love and Flower of Death." The production, which occupies over half nn hour, is a stirring portrayal of feudal days. The Selig historical diama, "Christopher Columbus," will bo shown only at day sessions to-day, for the last time. This will enable school children under fourteen years to compete for tho two guineas essay priie, particulars of which are announced in another column., On Monday night a lengthy costume drama, "Knights of Rhodes,' will be introduced with tho new programme.

At tho Theatre Royal, Napier, ' this evening, Mr. J. C. Williamson's Company of comedians, which includes Mr. Fred Niblo, the famous American actor, and Harry Corson Clarke, the original Jones in "What Happened to Jones?' will stage the exceedingly'humorous and enormously successful farce-compdv, "Got-Rich-Quick Wallingford." On Monday' night the company appear at Dannevir'ke, and at Palmerston North on Tuesday next, at Wanganui on Wednesday, at Hawera on Thursday, Eltham on Friday, and New Plymouth on Saturday. The tour will be brought to a.close at Auckland. ORGAN RECITAL. To-night Mr. Maughan Barnett will resume his organ, recital in the Town Hall!
