Sanitary Depot, a witness stated that several, bodies had been found during tho last four or five years, but that they were>small ones, and no notice had been taken of them. Tho jury returned a verdict that death was' duo to neglect, tho result being manslaughter by spmo person-unknown. DWARFS FALL FROM A CART. ' Dunodln, February 11. John Elder, a dwarf, fell off a baker's cart at.Mosgiol, and died on tho way to tho hospital. Ho is supposed to have sustained concussion of tho brain. FATAL FALL FROM A CART. .."..■' Diinedlny February H. An inquest on tho body of John Elder, aged :JG years, who. was fatallv injured yesterday as the result of a fall from a cart, was held to-day....The man died in (ho,ambulance wagon, on tho way to tho Hospital. The evidence showed that death was due, to internal hemorrhage and shock. Deceased was sitting on tho top of a bread van round which there was a railing eight or nine inches high. Ho wns holding a bag in front of his head, owing to tho strong wind and rain. The horso .swerved, and deceased fell off the cart. A verdict of accidental death was returned. '' A'MAORI'S'DEATH. ' ■■:,.-■'• Rotorua, February 13. A Maori named Ropiha was found insensible in the street early yesterday morning. He was removed to the Sanatorium, where' ho died, last night.
