POISONED WINE.
: NEW SOUTH WALES TRAGEDY. . By Taleeraph-Preßi Association-Copyright (ltcc. February 13, 8.55 p.m.) Sydney, February 13/ An open verdict was returned to-day at tho inquest in connection with tho death last month of Mrs. St. Georgo Miller, who died at Wellington, in tills State, after drinking poisoned wine.
The only frosh evidence was that given by the husband, who also partook of the wine, and became seriously ill, but recovered. He stated that, after drinking some wino in tho morning his wife took tho bottle away, saying that she wojild put it where the boys would be unable to get it. She had strychnine lockod in her drawer-. They had lived happily, though his wife had often said she was tired of life.
