The Kaiser unexpectedly addressed the University Centenary celebration and delivered ft fiery panegyric on the Gorman military virtues. Ho declared that Prussia's renaissance was an act of God. Tho present generation was inclined to bo materialistic, and showed less capacity for what was transcendental. They might well learn how to get back to their father's faith. God was with tho Germans before and was with them now.
