FIRE AT HUTT.

The Lower Hutt Fire Brigade was called out at 11.15 o'clock last night to suppress an outbreak of fire in a six-roomed dwelling, situated in Knight's Road, Lower Hutt. Although the brigade was quickly on tho scene, they had to confine their efforts to saving the next door premises, and taking into account the heavy wind which prevailed they performrd creditable work. The house was owned by Mr. C. C. Ross, of Masterlon, ' and occupied by Mr. Arthur Urooker. The building and its contents', were totally destroyed, and tho flare illuminated a good portion of the valley.
