February 9, 5.5 p.m.) London, February 8. , Suffragottes at night entered two of tho orchid houses in Kew Gardens, smashed 80 windows, uprooted priceless orchids, and committed great damage. A woman smashed two ,£BO windows at Sclfridge's Stores. Suffragettes also cut thirty telephone wires, including tho trunk wire to Dumbarton, and flvo telegraph wires between Birmingham and Coventry.
