The Pacing Club had kindly offered the ground and buildings. rent free for tho iirst year, and after that.on, terms to uo arranged.. It was decided unanimously to accept tho Racing Club's . generous offer, and to pass them hearty vote of thanks. Messrs. W. H. Booth, H. Hart, R. W. Roydhousc, B. Booth, and G. T. Eenwick wore .appointed ' a committee to layout tho course. A hearty voto of : thanks was accorded Mr. Howard Booth for tho use of his paddocks for the past two years.
