Tho'inquest on-tho, body of Jolin Muir» head,-who was'killed ea Friday, was concluded to-day. , Dr, Gordon Macdonnld gave evidence that the primary causa of doath was loss of blood caused by injuries to the 'lungs • through the cart passing, over deceased./ A verdict to this effect was.returned..; . \ ■ '•. -. DEATH IN MARTIN STREET.' The death occurred, at 19 Martin Street, at about.a.quarter past twelve yesterday morning,' of John Christopher, a man of 65 years. It is. stated that'the deceased had been suffering from chest' trcubto for sometime, but as Dr. Martin, who was called in shortly before Christopher died, was unablo to give n oertifioato of death; an inquest will,be held to-morrow. .; . ° SUDDEN DEATH. . ■ ; \ Ashburton, February 3. ..
