Carolus, Canute, and Scottish Star in close attendance. .Cominjj into the straight - Golden Morn was still in front, but Carolus took charge below the distance, and won somewhat easily by three-quarters of a length from Ladrono, who came fast over the last furlong, with Martian Maid two and-a half lengths away third, followed at close intervals by Scottish Star and Canute. Passing the six furlongs post Mumura still led, whilo Coroniform -improved his position. Coroniform was with tho leaders entering tho straight, with Anna Carlovna going very fast on tho outside. The latter put in a brilliant finish, and wearing down the top weight a hundred yards from tho post,- won by a length, with The Cornet half a length away third, followed by Parablo and Tannhauser.
