. BURNING QUESTION IN SYDNEY. By Telcjcraoh—Presa AsgooUtion-GoDrrtabt Sydnoy, February 1. At the Political and Labour League Conference, feeling rcferenco was made to the subject of high rents. It was announced that this would bo a burning question at tho Federal and State elections from a Labour standpoint. : ' Mr. Griffith, Minister for Public Works, in a speech said that he intended to introduce a Fair Rents Bill and establish model workers' suburbs. Tho conference passed a resolution in favour of a cessation of restricted immigration.
