BANK KATES OP INTEREST. The Bank of England rate was, on February 8. 1912, reduced from 4 to 3* per cent., and On May 9 it was further reduced to 3 per cent. On. August 29 It was raised to 4 per cent., and on October 17 to 6 per cent. .
