> GREATER WELLINGTON ASSOCIATION. . ' , The formation':of a Greater Wellington Wunioipnl Association is now practically on accomplished fact. All preliminaries 'have been arranged, and tho now association will appeal for public support at a general meeting which is to bo wiled on i February 10. 'i'ho association will bo in partXan affiliation of tho various suburban ratepayers' associations. and of the Citizens' League, a body whioh figured to some extent iu'tha last inunicioal election. It is-proposed that the Citizens' League . and the suburban; associations shall each bo entitled to return one member to tho executive'of: tho new association. Provision is l also made for direct- membership by all citizens who care to join tho association, and 1 these members 'will fleet 'about one-half of the, excoutivoat tho , meeting on February 10.. The other half ..'■';' of,the exocutivo.-will consist'of the.delegates'.from the'various suburban associations,.' ' -_.-■ Tlie Greater Wellington Association cah- ■■'••'-. Hot be 1 fully launched until a public meeting has been, held, but up to this point it ij in full working order. Tho adherence of. all tho suburban associations has been Becured, and also that of tho Citizens' .
