Mr. Abraham Manoy, whose death is reported from Motueka, was the head of the firm of Messrs. A. Manoy and Sons, Ltd., merchants, for years closely associated with the progress of the town and district: The lato, Mr. Manoy camo to New Zealand in 18G1, and resided at Christchurch and Napier before settling in Motueka. The deceased married a daughter of the lato Mr. Henry Moss, of this city. The family 'consists of a daughter (Mrs. S. Jacobs, of Wellington), and four sons, one of whom married n daughter of the Rev. H. Van Staveren, of Wellington, and another was married some months ago to Miss May Newman, daughter of Mr. B. Newman, of Wellington. The interment will take place in Wellington to-morrow.
