The Dannovirke show takes nluco on February 12 and 13, and many .cuxumr stances conlbino. to ■ justify the expectation that it. will prove a: most interesting fixture.. Their Excellencies the.Governor and Countess- of Liverpool'have accepted an invitation -to be (present on the second day. They- will bo entertiiued at luncheon by the association, ; and afterwards his Excellency will v form-illy declare the new show grounds open. The various works which': havo, been in; j,regress for somo months past are now ctmpleted, and everything is in readiness for the show. A great'deal of accommodation hns been provided for ail classes of stock, for tho indiqatioris are that tho entries' will surpass thoso of any previous year. Competitions will .take place on Uth days. Tho. Railway Department have made convenient arrangements-fur' conveyance of visitors from Palm3i-sfcon JiorthA Napier, and the Wairarapa, and nothing sepms to be wanting except two fine days to ensure this year's, show' being a, big success.
