"THE PURITAN BLIGHT."
• Sir,—ln "your article 'of ' Friday, January 17, you commend the Roy. E; J. Campbell for hia somewhat sneering remark regarding the 60-called "Puritan blight." I was spriy : tq see' "the. remark,' as it ia no dqubt owing to tlio demands of the authpra of-tho "Puritan blight'' that we have a great deal of our present freedom of epecoh. Jesus Christ, Who, after all, is the final Court of Appeal for all Christians, Anglican or Nonconformist, says, "Ye are in tho world, but not of tho world," and Paul, who wag as keen a soul-seeker as the Campbell, says, "Come out from among them and be ye separate, and touch not . the unclean thing.' 1 As oven according to your article it is neoessary to discriminate in tho matter of theatre, attendance, eto., it seems to me tha Christian's best plan ia to leavo it alono.—l am, etc.,
