■ .— : —» ■ ■ CONGRATULATIONS FROM KING GEORGE. Br Tolecrasli—Press Association—Copyrialil Paris, January 23. Tho British Ambassador at Paris, Sir Francis Bertie, has presented the President, M. Poincare, with King GeorgeY congratulations on the occasion of his election. In his communication his Majesty says he is convihced that thero will be a continuance of the cordial friendship uniting the two nations. The Prince of Wales has _also expressed his pleasure at M. Poincare's election, and forwards his good wishes.
