That ti is farm should be worked by, elderly ti necessitous persons for whom other employment is difficult to obtain, and that this faun should supply or partially supply a municipal market, for fruit cr vegetables. ,
'Councillor Tregear to move:—"That In' view of tho fact that half the sickness and mortality of children nas its source in contaminated food, the. council tako into serious .consideration, the question of tho control of tho milk supply, of tho city." Councillor Tregear to move-.—"That tho council take into consideration tho supply of public hot water baths (salt and fresh), also, the supply of unitary family laundries, where clothes can be washed and dried by their owners at almost nominal cost."
Councillor MlKehzio to move: "That the following resolution, passed at a meeting of the council-, held on December 12,- be rescinded i—'That the council decline to grant permits to sell aerated i>nd mineral waters on the Lyall Biy Beoch on account of the danger from bitkcn bottles.'" . Councillor Tregear to move: '"> hat the council take into early consideration tho reform of. procedure, in order td-p:oauco efficiency in administration." Councillor Al'Konzie to move: "That a report bo obtained from Alessrs. Richardson and Lauchlan on the advisability of introducing a new tariff which .would cheapen the present cost of electricity and popularise daylight consumption."
