TRESPASS-A NICE POINT.
CASE OP PUBLIC HALLS. - (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ; - Chrlstchurch, January 18. A nico point was raised in tho Magistrate's Court this morning, in a trespass case. A number of men were found last night on premises- in Manchester Chambers, used as a mooting placo for lodges and'unions. One . of them was charged this morning with being illegally on. too promises. Tno dofeace contended that'nothing in the Police Oifonces Act ooujd apply to a building of this class. The caso waa dismissed, as tho Act enumerated oertain classes of premises on which trespass might ooour, but' a public hall was not included.
