, . • . ■ .- • A •. Taihape Wedding. ,On ; December, 27, at St. Margaret's Church, Taihape, a. very pretty and interesting wedding took place, whin Mi 69 Muv Frnnces. Aris, of Taihape, was married to Mr. Raymond Gibson, of Christchurch, the Rev. Percy Wiie-Clarkson being the officiating clergyman. The bride, who was given away .by her brother-in-law,. Mr. B. H. .do LatOur, looked oliarming in a frock of whito satin charmeuse, with a long court'tialn of beautiful lace, the hand-embroidered wedding veil being ur'rahged with semi-wreath, of bride's blossom to form a mob cap., Instead of the usual bouquet, she carried a decorated prayer-book. The bridesntaid, Miss' Siti Strack, of 'HaWera, and Miss Eva Aldridge, of Taihape, were daintily. gowned in white muslin pannier frocks, and wore tulle bandeaux, trimmed with tiny, wreaths of rosohjuls and augrettes of tulle. They carried bouquets of beautiful roses. Miss Ruthio Matheson, niece of tho bride, acted as train-bearer, while Mr. Frank Prideaux, of Wellington, acted i as best man. The, church was beautifully decorated by tho friends of the bride, and the Service was fully choral, Mr. A. E.
