TREASURY & AUDIT PICNIC.
Tho Trensury-Audit annual picnic was held at the Hutt Recreation Grounds yesterday. Tho heads of the Departments were present and an enjoyablo day. eventuated. ' A tournament was held in con•junction with tho picnic, cricket, athletics,' bowls, and tennis being played.' The Treasury defeated Audit'by 99 runs on the first innings. Cricket.—Treasury, 159 (Aniodeo 46 not out, Sproggon 18, Bradley 36, Mackay 14). Audit, CO (Hamer 12, Saxon 12, Treahy 10). R. Miller took: seven wickets for 22 runs; AVilliams, three for 34 for Treasury; and R. Miller, three for 43; Hamer, three for 16; Adams, two for 32 for Audit. Athletics.—looyds. final: W.
