THE E.M.F.' ON THE FAIRLIE-QUEENSTOWN MAIL • . ■'•-/':;;'•;/.. A great many months ago the -Mount Cook Motor Company' purchased . from Messrs. Adams, Ltd., a 80 h.p. Studebaker E.M.F. car, for ii6o on the longest motor mail servico in tho world—that from Fairlie to Queenstown. Any motorist who has been over tho route knows tho tough test, it provides for any car on one journey. There ore big streams ' to ■> ford, steep .'grades-:to climb, and the roads carry a gritty dust that plays havoc with most bearings. It is a trip through the most rugged and mountainous portion of this island. The Studebaker "E.M.F." has faced this journey day in and day out, in good .weather, bad weather, and indifferent weather, with the rivers high and with tho rivers low. It hhs never foiled to deliver the-;'inailti in schedule timo. It' has run .as regularly as a clook and as steadily as an ocean liner, And tho. hard work seems to suit, tho car. Her owners sny she is doing it "better than ever." All of which merely bears out our contention that Studebaker cars give satisfaction, with a big S. Wo havo just landed at Palmerston North and Wangamti shipments of tho new and improved Studebaker E.M.F. 30 h.p. nvo-seator cars, with nickel finish and khaki hoods.
