At the request of the New Zealand Holstein Breeders' -Association, the New South Wales Minister for Agriculture (Mr. Trefle) is allowing Mr. O'Callaglian, State Dairy Expert, to act temporarily in selecting New, South AVnles Ilolsteins eligible to bo entered in the New Zealand Stud Book. The idea is to protect Holstein buyers in Now Zealand who want to import new blood.. Australian breeders whose cattle pass the test will be able to advertise it in New Zealand.; Prospective buyers in New Zealand will bo ablo-to consult the Holstein Association, and tell ,at a glance from what New South Wales breeders of the stock to buy. /
