FEILDING NEWS.
Tho Rev. A. S. Innes Jones left Feilding yesterday for Nelson, where, bo will attend the General Synod of the Church of England.. Mr. Jones has been selected as one of three olergymen from tho Wellington, diocese. One of tho three sheds in Victoria Park was destroyed by fire at 1.30 o'clock on Sunday morning. Mr. Bottcher's two children in Kongotea had an unfortunate experience while driving from tho butter factory on Saturday. A bull leaped a fence on to the road, and their horso was startled, ant! suddenly, swerved, with tho result that both children wero thrown out of the trap. Ono of tho wheels passed over the head of the lad, and ho sustained severe abrasions on tho faco and head. Jlona Bottcher, who fortunately escaped, was quickly on her feet, and pluckily ran to the horse's head, thus avoiding further trouble, Tho lad was taken to Palmerston Hospital. His injuries are not likely L to have any, serious effect.
