Motor, Reserve will be administered by a lieutenant- < colonel of the Territorial Foroe, who will ( be responsible -to the. Quartermaster- ( General and assisted by a;6taif officer,'who 1 will 'bo appointed from the permanent I forces of the Dominion. Its .establishment i will consist of ,orio lieutenant-colonel, one staff officer, 16 majors, 32 captains, and 128 lieutenants. '. . JU Those accepting commissions in the Now Zealand Army Motor Reserve ,must possess a thoroughly, efficient car and a good practical knowledge of it,, arid will be expeoted to drive it themselves! will bo required to perform seven days duty annually (consecutively or otherwise as required, or as. 14 half-days), if called upon, and thesa dutiesiwill be entirely in connection with the headquarters district staffs.of the defence forces, far as possible in the neighbourhood -in , .which they reside. ' .•;. ' lr , -. Officers of the New Zealand Army Motor Reserve must be between-the' ages, of 21 and 59 inolusive. They will be.placed on tho retired list at the. age of '60. Commissioned officers of the permanent fprce, territorial force, senior cadets, permanent staff, and. compulsory members of' Tiflo clubs will not be eligible for appointment to the corps.
