* SEVERE DROUGHT IN 1920. By Telegraph—Press, Association—Copyright (Rcc. January 6, 1.15 a.m.) Melbourne, January 6. An English meteorologist, Mr. Douglas Archibald, who has just arrived here, predicts the boginning of. a general drought about 1920. It will probably bo a severe one. His prediotion Is based on Professor Bruckner's discovery of alternate oycles of wot and'dry weather in waves of thirtyfive years' duration each.
