A Petone Wedding, On Saturday, at Knox Church, Lowei Hutt, Miss Harriet Barnes, youngesi daughter of the late Mrs, William Barnes of Dunedin, was married to Mr. Herberl Kilminster, «m of Mr. Kilminster, ol Belmont. The Rev. Mr. M'Can was t'h< officiating clergyman. Tho .brido wa< given away by her brother, Mr. W Barnes, and wore a dainty gray costume and hat to match. Mr. A. Kilminstei was best man. After thf ceremony are ception was held at tho Victoria Hotel Petone, and the usual toasts honoured Later in tho afternoon Mr. and Mrs Kil minster loft for the nor,th. Fellding Wedding. A quiet, but pretty wedding took plaa at St. John's Church, Feilding, ou Ne.v Year's Day, when Miss Gladys Pedder eldest daughter of Mr, C. F. Pedder, o Failding, was married to Mr. C. F, Cooper The ceremony was performed by tho Rev Alan Innos-Jones. Tho bride was attend ed by Miss Nellie O'Brien, of Palmerstoi North. Mr. W. : Cooper, brother of thi bridegroom, was best man.
