ODDFELLOWSHIP.
The fortnightly meeting of Loya'l Heart of Oak Lodge,' 1.0.0. F., M.U., was held in the Foresters' Hall; Carterton, oit Friday evening, N.G; Bro. H. A. Bick presiding. One-member was declared on the sick fund. The installation of officers was as follows:—N.G., Bro. W. Churchill; V.G., Bro., E. S. Bairstow; secretary, Bro. L. H. Smart; treasurer, P.G. Bro. C. J. De Lacey; R.S.N.G., Bro. J, Wallace; R.S.V.G., Bro. E.. M. Bish. The. lecture master, Bro. De Lacey, installed tho brothers.into their respective offices. It was resolved ito place the re-' tiring G.M.'s name on tho merit board, and to present him with a framed emblem of the Order. The lodge surgeon, Dr. D. G. Johnston, wrote stating that lie was leaving for Scotland on January 9, and that Dr. li. M. Gunn would be his locum tenens during his absence. The secretary was instructed to. forward a letter to Dr. Johnston, wishing him bon voyage: The secretary read a copy of the halance-shect (unaudited), which showed the lodgo to be in a flourishing statu. The credit to the sick and,funeral fund -at the close of the year was 16s. 3d., a gain of ss. lOd. The: management fund is in evedit ,£29 9s. 4d„ having increased bv .£ls ss. 3d. . during the pnst year. All the other funds of tho. lodgo show credit balances and tho membership has increased sufficiently to enable the lodgo to bo represented at the amUial district meeting at Levin next month by two delegates. .-
