Evidence was given to tho effect that accused had been sent to tho Weraroa training farm five year 3 c:o for stealing a bicycle. Lambert, J.P., tho following cases of < insobriety were dealt with:—Kate Swconey, a frequent visitor, was convicted and discharged; Norman MT?hce, who appeared for tho thirteenth' time, was fined 605., the alternative being ono month's imprisonment! and Archibald M'Naughton was admonished, convicted, and discharged.
