W.R.A, MEETING, SCORES OP THE SECOND DAY. Tho Wellington Riflo Association continued their annual meeting iit Trentham rifle range yesterday. The conditions wcro much better than on the first day and the shooting was slightly better. As it "'as, however) tho wind was tricky and .battling—-what is generally known as a nsli-tail wind, veering from 4 degrees left to 6 degrees right. The'light was fairly good and a great improvement on tho hrst day. Ihe championship aggregate awarded to tiie competitor who compiles tho highest aggregate score in matches 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ana G, and who receives a gold medal and a cash prize of .£l2, was awarded to Rifle™"i l 'tt L ' I"™"' of the Suburb? Riflo Uul>. His total 'score amounted to 240 out 'of a possible 285. ~ A speciaL aggregate prize awarded to the competitor compiling the highest aggregate score over 300, 500, and GOO yards, and ,who holds tho Licensed Victuallers' silver cup for twelve months and wins outright "cup valued at 10s., prelvl lrn t .Mil's and Co., was'won. y Rifleman J. Smart, of tho Suburbs Club. with'a. score of 139. '•the lvaiapoi Woollen Compo.ny's ru?. valued at £2 25., was awarded to Rifleman James, of Okawn; he'being the competitor jvho compiled the highest aggregate at 800, 900, and 1000 yards. The teams match was won by the Cliristchurch team by the minimum margin of one. The Karori Club's No. 2 team camo'second with a score of 456 as against 457. The' Suburbs Riflo Club was tmra with air aggregate score of 434. Inuividiially, Rifleman Wood, of .Christ church, easdy headed: the list witlv a total of 101 out of a possible 105.
