Tho Picton Eegatta was held "to-day in pouring rain, but tho harbour was as smooth as a millpond, - and consequently the. racing was good. Results:— Junior Single Sculls—A Sharno ■ (Wanganui'Union), 1; H. M'Kinley (Wellington), 2; R, Weill (Picton), 3. . Only starters. Won easily. Maiden Fours.—Wanganui Union, 1; Kawatiri, 2; Blenheim, 3.'.A150 started: Picton, Star B.C. (Wellington), and Wairau. Time, 6min. 7 ,l-ssec. Picton was tho only crew entered in the' Senior Fours. .; Junior Fours.—Petone, 1; Wellington, 2; Picton, 3. Star and Blenheim also competed. • This was a fine race. Time, 10 min. 33seo. Maiden Pairs.—Star - 8.C., 1; Wairau, 2; Petbne, 3. Also started: Wanganui Union and Kawatiri. Time, 7min. 47sec.
