A stowaway was arrested at Wellington on the arrival of R.M.S. Tahiti from San Francisco yesterday. The man went aboard the steamer at l'apoote, and was not located until tho vessel arrived in the stream at Wellington. It appears that tho "freo passenger" had friends on board, and they were successful in keeping him out of sight from Dccemtttr - 2!) onwards.
