/ A meeting of the .Wairarapa South and FeatherSton County Councils was held at the Waioliine Bridge yesterday morning. A cartful examination and tests were made, and it wgs decided to ojran tho bridge for light traffic from to-night. All'passengers will have to walk across the bridge, and cars and horse' vehicles must Igo at a walking pace. Heavy traffic will either, go through Mataraua or across a very good ford a few chains down the river. The timber and necessary appliances to . repair the bridge are being obtained as quickly as possible, and as soon as everything is_ready the bridge will be closed for repairs, which, will only take a few days.
