MONOPLANE AT PIGEON BUSH.
ASCENDED TOO SOON. Says our Featherston correspondent An attempt ait flight witb a. monoplanewas, made on Christmas iSaj at Pigeon BuSh; but owing to some misunderstanding on tho part of the aviator's assistants' the machine was allowed to ascterid' before the proper time; The result was that the monoplane fell violently to the' ground, and ft is reported- that the operator wrs injured. The machine has been taken back t6 Wellington for repairs; but it is understood that another effort will be modo tit the' same locality.- .
