HUTT AND PETONE NEWS.
(I'rom Orr Special Correspondent.) Last Sunday eveui.ng the death occurred of Mrs. W. Mowbray at her residence, .Waterloo; .Road, Lower Hutt. Deceased, who \vas' v 7G years of age, cw.e to' Wellington.in the s.s. Midlothian in 1359 with her husband, and for some years'both were connected with musical societiesin the city. In ISS4 the family took up residence at Lower Hutt, where they have since tcs:d*d. The late Mrs. Mowbray, who, by kindness and generosity, endeared herself to many, will be greatly miszed in the district. A company of cadets from the Pe'tone Technical-School left', last evening for Christchurch to take part in the military tournament. The lads, who have been in training for six months, will compete in six events. Mr. 'J. Lynskey, director of the school, will be in charge. .
