SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present indications aro for a falling barometer everywhere soon, the winds changing from southerly by east to northerly over the North Island, and increasing northcrJics elsewhere. Mild and hazy weather,. with increasing cloudiness,' will probably prevail, and a change follow shortly. The weather has been fair to cloudy in all parts of the Dominion, and the barometer high except about East Oape, where a southerly gale ha-s continued. Grevtown, December 23.—A summer's day. Mas'terton, December 23—Fine to-day. The outlook for the holidays is promising. Hastings, December 23.—T0-day has been fine; temperature colder.
