During the'second innings of the Viyiah team, Green, an Oriental man, received a blow from the ball on the left knee, sufficiently severe to necessitate his retirement. *'The match was won by Oriental by GS runs. ■ ■ ■ : : . Quite aa interesting finale marked the match between Artillery and Rivals, the Artillerymen just being beaten by the clock fox'a.fall-point-win. POLICE V. H.M.S.; CAMBRIAN. A cricket match between a team from H.M.S. Cambrian and the Police-Occi-dental team was played, at Anderson , Park yesterday. The pitch was very true, and was specially prepared by the caretaker of the park. The Police-Occidental teann' made 197 Dins (Butters 73, Carrad 41, O'Leary' 22, arid Schramm 21). For the Cambrian team Beniiett tcok three wickets and . Lobbs two, and M'Kinnon one. ; The Cambrian team made 90 runs (M'Kinnon 29 and, Bennett 23, Liddle 14, and Shepperd 11).
