"GRAY'S APPEAL DISMISSED. By Telegraph—Prce^'Association—Copyright London, December IG. The hearing of the appeal in the c-use of John Roberts v. George Gray, junior, has concluded. Gray's appeal was dismissed' without Roberts's counsel being called upon. [The. action between Roberts and Gray, was commenced in London in February last, before a special jury in the- Lord Chief Justice's Court,' and a verdict of .£ISOO was awarded Roberts, who claimed MM from Gray for breach of a contract for a toiir of tho world, extending over eighteen months. Gray, in his defence, pleaded infancy, and also that Roberts had misrepresented tho dates of plav. After giving judgment, Lord Alverstone intimated that ho would hear arguments on questions of law, and -would then enter judgment. In April, Lord Alverstoue gave judgment for Roberts on all points.! , .-.-. "
