Mr. Lloyd-George, is to confer with tho lending hospitals regarding the treatment of insured patients in hospital. The hospital authorities estimate that contributions from London to the institutions are likely to decline 23 per cent., and in tho provinces 50 per cent. Subscriptions and legacies have already largely declined. Thirty thousand of the "insureds" would require hospital treatment weekly. It is suggested that two and a half millions annually should be granted to the hospitals.
