NAVUA-TRANSPORT SHIP. . The Union .Company's steamer Nayuo, leaves Auckland for Wellington to-day.. She is duo here on Thursday, December 19, and sails on the same day for Dunedm direct. Leaving the southern port on DocemUM 2-1. the Navua comes back direct to Wellington. She is scheduled to leave hero a,, 8 p.m. on December 23 for Lyttelton. On that trip she will act as transport for territorials and cadets who are intending to bonipeto at the military, competitiomi which are to be held at Christchurch. .The Teasel will convey tho troops back to Wellington on December 28. . TUG. -LYTTELTON SOLD. '■ The sale is reported of tile weU : known tug Lyttelton, which has been purchased by tho Kauri Timber Company, Limited, from the Devonport Steam Ferry Company. The Lyttelton was purchased by the lerry Company some time ago from the Lyttelton Harbour Board. Up to a few weeks, ago she was engaged in towing Tafts of logi) from coastal ports to Auckland, but recently the crew were paid off, and.the Teasel went to an- anchorage in the stream. Tho Lyttelton, although 34, years old, Is still a very useful vessel, and is in splendid condition. .. She is. an iron jaddle ■steamer pf 207 grora tons, built at Birkenhead (England) in 1878.
