At the trial at Agra of Mr. Clark, of tho Medical Department at Allahabad, Mrs. Fulham and a native servant named Bmlliu, who are charged with having murdered Mrs. Clark, a statement by Mrs, Fulham was read. Sho believed, she stated, that Clark possessed hypnotic power, and mado her husband and herself do what ho wished. Ho won her affection completely, and she became a tool at his hands. On her arrival at Agra her husband was taken ill. Shortly after Clark gavo her husband several injections. Before his death Clark spoke of doing away with his wife. Sho knew on tho night of tho murder that Budhu was to keep tho dog quiet, and point out Mrs. Clark to two men. who hud been commissioned to strangle her ■without leaving frascY-yreiats or traces of Wood,
