ISSUE OF NEW SHAKES. By Tclesraph—Press Association—Copyright London, December 13. The directors of the Bank of-Australasia have recommended the issue of ten thousand shares of <£40 each, at a premium of •EGO. The details of t lie proposed new issue will be published later. . The "Daily News" announces that the hope is entertained in some quarters that part of the reserves will bo capitalised. It is unusual, however, for a bank to indulgo in a reserve capitalisation scheme; but it must be admitted that the terms of the proposed issue seem to be clear, and assume the shape of a big bonus to the existing shareholders of the bank.
