NEW AUSTRALIAN BOARD. . By Telegraph—Prees Association—Copyright Melbourne, December 12. The Inter-State Commission Bill has been introduced in the House. - ' It provides for the appointment of three Commissioners to investigate from time to time anything, requiring inquiry io the public interest, such as foreign markets, the' price of commodities, unemployment, immigration, and the contool of rivers. The Chief Commissioner will receive £2500 per annum, and the other two £1000 each, and travelling expenses. The appointments aro for a period of seven years.
