GENEROUS DONATIONS. (By TeleEra'ph.—Press Association.) Dunedirtj December 10. A meeting of the Anglican New Cathe" dral Board Treasurers was held to-day. The report showed that up to date .£12,415 9s. 7d. had been received. In addition there were promised subscriptions of .£2336 os. 7d., and two donations each, making a gross total of ,-£10,751 10s. 2d. The Public Trustee reported the Harrop bequest as now being worth ,£30,80»-nn increase of £loilH by interest during the last twelve months. ..' The Primate said that a generous donor had offered .£2(100 provided that the rest of the money required was raised within a month. Up till the present some .£ISOO had bsen promised, including one amount of .£SOO, the Primate £250, and six others of .£IOO each. A plan was produced showing a proposed 30ft. street between the Town Hall and tho site to give access to tho new Municipal Hall, and a property where it was eventually hoped to' build tho deanery. It. was decided to c.iblo Homo to tho architect urging liini to send out tho plans and specifications.
