The estate of the solicitor Delay, who committed suicide at Newquay, is set down at .£70,000. He bequeathed ,£IO,OOO to his widow, the residue'(which includes £30,000 left to Mrs. Nowill, whoso body was found on the shore at Newquay) goes to Delay's 6ister. Delay was married in New York in November, 1911. This fact was unknown, and Delay's family codicil, duly witnessed, states, that the £30,000 left to Mrs. Nowill was a slight token of his high admiration and esteem for Mrs. Nowill. The woman was buried at Sheffield today. (Rec December 8, 5.5 p.m.) London, December 7. Delay always led Mrs. Nowill to believe that he was a bachelor. . . '
