[Continued from "World of Sport," p. 12.] • Although the personnel of the club's "A", team is much the same as it was during last season, their showing to the present has not been impressive. Nevertheless, the two completed games' have both been won, and the club's supporters are confidently expecting better things in the future. Given good weather this afternoon, the public, who are interested enough to put in an appearance at the Basin Reserve, will, one nopes, see a good game between East A and North, the two unbeaten teamp. East will put their strongest eleven in the field, Wills again making an appearance after three weeks' absence. Gibbes does iiot appear to b® either batting or bowling as well as he did last year, but Hickey is proving as successful as ever with the ball. Grimmett is getting more ohances, and is troubling the opposing batsmen great, ly. The real want of the team is a good fast bowler. M'Girr, who fills the position, has so far done nothing, and his bowling at present is too erratio. Midlane and Tucker have both been batting confidently and well, although the former appears to be a little too reckless. Hickson also, in the two matches in which he has participated, hns proved that he is still capable of making runs with the best of them. The club's "B" team appears to be, if anything, a little stronger than it was last year, although their record to the present is not very inspiring. However, let them not be downhearted, but remember that they have met already two of the strongest teams in the competition.
