PRICE OF LEATHER.
ANOTHER ADVANCE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Auckland, December i. Owing to the still-increasing cost of hides, which are now stated to be selling at phenomenal prices, the New Zealand Tanners' : Association resolved to-day to again advance the price of leather by one penny per pound, and one shilling and sixpence per side, and one-half penny per foot for chromes.
